Dr. Joe Zagrodnik is the founder of the Convergence Zone blog and a postdoctoral researcher at Washington State University AgWeatherNet. His career has spanned a number of academic institutions and research interests including weather observations+field experiments, forecasting, climatologies, machine learning, and high-resolution modeling.

A Seattle resident since 2013, Joe has embraced the temperature climate for his outdoor hobbies including running, gardening, and beekeeping.

Ana Ordoñez

Convergence Zone contributor

Ana Ordoñez is a Washington local currently based in Seattle. She has a master’s degree in atmospheric sciences from the University of Washington, a bachelor’s degree in geography from Arizona State University, and is a former SOARS protégé.
